Founded 47 years ago by Luís Nogueira, Foxtrot is one of the oldest and most emblematic nightlife-oriented food and beverage venues in Lisbon. Opened to the public at a time when the city was experiencing a special vibrancy in the post–April 25th period, the bar stands out not only for its longevity, but above all for its unique atmosphere, which transports visitors to a defining era of Lisbon’s culture and nightlife.
Foxtrot remains a reference point for its distinctive offering and personalized service. With nearly half a century of activity, it continues to win over new generations of customers.
The décor, designed by the renowned Luís Pinto Coelho, is a remarkable example of Art Nouveau style. His work reveals a strong aesthetic sensibility and meticulous attention to preservation. Over the decades, Foxtrot has safeguarded its identity and essence, valued every detail of space and providing an immersive experience that celebrates the elegance and sophistication of early 20th-century design.
